    Dude, this is an excellent list of links. Thanks for posting them!

    The best of the free services listed up there is BrowserPool because:

    1) It’s not an emulator. It’s a computer that has the actual browsers installed! You connect to it via a virtual desktop program (small installation) which even a monkey could use;

    2) No waiting around in a huge queue. It’s not a free service, it’s a free *test* account. Since they’re trying to sell you something, their service is fast and pretty reliable;

    3) Relevant browsers installed. It’s all very fun to preview your site in some really antiquated browser like Lynx, or something like that, but if we’re being realistic, there’s really only a small pool of browsers that we need to test on various operating systems, all of which BrowserPool provides.

    Okay, I sound like an advertisement now, but that’s my honest opinion. I’m not an employee — I really did try all the free emulators up there. :) I just wish someone had pointed me straight to BrowserPool from the get-go.

    Just a note about Lynx, Lynx is not important from a debugging the the code rendered. However it is vitally important from an SEO standpoint. Lynx essentially shows you what a search engine bot or spider sees on your site. So if it is not publishing all the text you want the bots to see for SEO then you should go back and adjust the way page is coded to get the same look and feel, while delivering the content that the bots need to rank you high.
