The music app list is curiously missing iTunes. Sure it’s just a gateway app to get you to buy all of Apple’s DRMed music, but it plays non-DRMed music perfectly, compiles great statistics, allows for smart play lists, and even makes CD burning trivial. There’s also sharing, easy rating/categorization, PodCast support, etc, etc. Even without using the iTunes store I’d say it’s the best music app I’ve used.
(of course I own an iPod so that doesn’t hurt)

you may want to consider also Axigen mail server w/ webmail, the free version (though not open source).
